Shepherd of the Hills Church has been the host to many emerging churches in Laguna Niguel, among them St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, Temple Beth El, and Faith Episcopal Church. We are proud of our roll in making it possible for new churches to begin their ministries.

Currently, we share our campus with two new church communities: Capilla Calvario Congregation meeting the needs of our Hispanic community; and, Evangelical Formosan Church serving the local Chinese community. See our Social Events page for worship and activity times.

CAPILLA CALVARIO CONGREGATION
Capilla Calvario es una iglesia cristiana que cree en el señorío de Cristo, Nuestro deseo es conocer a Cristo y ser conformados a su imagen por el poder del Espíritu santo.

Creemos que la única base verdadera de hermandad es al amor de Dios que es más grande y más fuerte que cualquier diferencia que nos pueda dividir y creemos que sin este amor en nosotros no tenemos derecho de llamarnos cristianos.

Creemos que la adoración a Dios debe ser espiritual, por eso somos flexibles y sensibles a la guía del Espíritu Santo para dirigir nuestra adoración.

Creemos que la adoración a Dios debe ser inspiración al por eso le damos un lugar importante a la alabanza y adoración en nuestros servicios.

Creemos que nuestra adoración a Dios debe ser inteligente, por eso en nuestros servicios se hace un gran énfasis a la enseñanza de la palabra de Dios versículo por versículo, capitulo por capitulo, hasta ensenar todo el consejo de Dios.

Creemos que la adoración a Dios es fructífera, por eso buscamos el amor de Dios en nosotros como la manifestación inequívoca de que verdaderamente le servimos a El.


Evangelical Formosan Church of Saddleback Valley
Evangelical Formosan Church of Saddleback Valley (EFCSV) 平安台福基督教會, formerly Peace Church, is an Evangelical Christian Church with Chinese heritage in South Orange County’s Saddleback Valley area.  

Our purpose is to worship God; to pursue Christian life and spiritual growth; to have fellowship with one another through praise, worship, Bible study and prayer meetings; and to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to the world in accordance with the Bible’s teachings.

Our Mandarin worship service is every Sunday afternoon at 2:30 P.M., followed by Sunday school at 4:00 P.M.  English worship service is for youth from age 11 through college and beyond, and starts at 4:00 P.M., right after its Sunday school at 2:30 P.M.  The Children’s program starts at 2:30 P.M. with Sunday school and is followed by children’s choir at 4:00 P.M. Once a month we have a combined worship service with translation, and a love feast at 5:00 P.M. every first Sunday of the month.
