Shepherd of the Hills Church has been the host to many emerging churches in Laguna Niguel, among them St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, Temple Beth El, Faith Episcopal Church, and Song of the Earth, a Native American Healing service. We are proud of our roll in making it possible for new churches to begin their ministries.

EVANGELICAL FORMOSAN CHURCH of Saddleback Valley
Evangelical Formosan Church of Saddleback Valley (EFCSV), formerly Peace Church, is an Evangelical Christian Church with Chinese heritage in South Orange County’s Saddleback Valley area.

Our purpose is to worship God; to pursue Christian life and spiritual growth; to have fellowship with one another through praise, worship, Bible study and prayer meetings; and to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to the world in accordance with the Bible’s teachings.

Our Mandarin worship service is every Sunday afternoon at 2:30 P.M., followed by Sunday school at 4:00 P.M.  English worship service is for youth from age 11 through college and beyond, and starts at 4:00 P.M., right after its Sunday school at 2:30 P.M.  The Children’s program starts at 2:30 P.M. with Sunday school and is followed by children’s choir at 4:00 P.M. Once a month we have a combined worship service with translation, and a love feast at 5:00 P.M. every first Sunday of the month.
